Tee Time Rain or Shine

Nebraska, USA

We'd say it's a hole-in-one.

Ready golf.

These homeowners are die-hard golf players. Like… built a house on top of the golf course with a private putting-green and a golf simulator die-hard. When they said “Tee Time Rain or Shine,” they meant it. Distance to the green? About a step or two.

This house and the one next door (they’re brothers!) took nearly three years in total to complete. Golf is a game of inches, after all, isn’t it? This home is roomy and expansive, a bit like its own little course. We worked closely with the architect to choose our clubs, take our swings, and analyze our trajectory on every last hole.

Made to play.

When it comes to building a home, the order of play goes like this… instead of furthest to closest, it's bottom to top. Once foundation is poured, the long game begins. There's usually all kinds of shot-shaping, follow-through, and strategy involved. Other times, it’s grip-it-and-rip-it to the green. In design as in golf, eventually you gotta stop thinking and just start to play.

This family plays to win, and they bring a dose of healthy competition to every category of life. Their home is thoughtfully designed, organized, and fully equipped for all the cooking, baking, crafting, gaming, playing, and climbing that you could imagine. Soaring windows open up to the yard with all kinds of space to get out and go... a pool, garden, putting green, and close range to the course keep this family in motion. Final consensus? "Par" none.

Really good... every little bit of it.
