Nashville or Bust
Brentwood, TN
This family left IL for TN... and asked us to come along. After designing a house for them a decade earlier, we were honored to accept the invitation. This time, to design their new home base outside of Nashville.
New space, same DNA.
They may have been entering new territory, but their core vision was the same–a spacious oasis to gather family, friends, and foster community.
Situated on a beautiful 30+ acres of rolling Tennessee hills, between siblings and their families on either side, this home needed plenty of square footage to absorb lots of people, while still being comfortably livable.
Follow the project
You've never seen a barn like this before.
With 23,000 square feet of finished space, the scale of this project was next-level for us. We embraced this challenge, and bonus room, to dream up spaces like we never had before. Namely, with a separate barn structure housing a full-size basketball court, workout room, cold plunge and sauna, plus a bar and golf simulator tucked away on the second floor.
The barn, like the rest of the project, puts the emphasis on customization and function. Each room oozes with personality, fully tailored to our homeowners.
