We’re looking to do a remodel and addition and btw… we also own the empty lot next door.
"Lipstick on a pig," but it wasn’t a pig... it was a newer, pretty, brick house with a fancy kitchen.
When our clients informed us that they owned the vacant lot next door, we all tried our darnedest for a remodel with an addition. But, the house became a try-hard, with a disjointed floor plan that struggled to accommodate the “wish list” and then the cost to do the work… not out of the ballpark of a new home.
So, we huffed, and we puffed and we tore the house down.
From the rubble sprung a stunning corner lot house, with 2 story windows, high ceilings, room for a large outdoor pool and private entertaining spaces, and the best part…the grown up kids / guest bedrooms are all on the 2nd floor, allowing the house to function like a beautiful, sprawling ranch.

One could retire and call it quits OR retire only to kickstart an entirely new and even wilder business.
That’s exactly what happened with these homeowners. So, building a home that gave them a quiet and private place to unwind, relax and chill was a top priority. The 4 season Sun Room opens to the exterior and is adjacent to a workout space, with a built in Sauna, that also opens to the outdoor pool and hot tub. Yes, we think it’s pretty freaking awesome and no you cannot book a stay here via VRBO.
Amy brings such joy to her work and it’s apparent that she loves what she does. Her team is just as talented and dedicated. Their ideas are fresh, clean, sophisticated yet very livable. We built our home to enjoy many years of friends and family gatherings and couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
