If you’re in the produce business, you’d call that smart.
If you’re an 80’s kid, you’d call that a line from a joke.
No living room, say what?!
Early on in the project, these clients told us, "We have a big family, we’re Mexican, people will be here all the time, and we like it that way. We don’t want everyone down in the basement, so lose the living room and let’s make it a billiard room with a bar."
Imagine the architects and designers all gasping with delight.

The party's in the kitchen. Always.
When they told us the kitchen needed to be a work horse, for all the family gatherings, we were happy to comply.
We made space for a walk-in refrigerator, lined with baskets of fresh fruit and veggies all labeled and organized (yes, we're jealous) and a large range and custom metal hood positioned in front of a huge window looking out on the yard.
Let's just say we had an unconventional layout that had us cookin’ up creative ideas.
