Low lighting, soft texture, and curves in all the right places; contrasted by glossy finishes, textured brick, and veiny stone, all richly shaded. The dining room is moody and drenched with high-contrast textures and a subtle glow that favors everybody. A metal-and-glass, temperature-controlled wine wall separates the dining room and butler's pantry where metallic gold picket tile and marble work together to create a deep, varied palette. Tres jolie.
Every last space, down to the powder rooms and foyer, feels lavish. Of course, we also let the kids have some of the fun. The second floor salon connects the three girls' bedrooms (a Jill-and-Jill-and-Jill, you could say). This is where the juicy conversations happen—prom dresses revealed, makeup mishaps fixed, and "les commérages” or the gossip of life is discussed among the most trusted of people. These are the spaces we create... not just rooms, but places to shape memories.
