OPEN POSITION:
JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

LOCATION: GLEN ELLYN

We are looking for an Interior Designer to join our creative, hard-working, energetic team!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Enjoy work-life balance? You’ll like it here. You’ll primarily be working on residential interior design projects with a very occasional opportunity to work on a hospitality or commercial job. You’ll be actively involved (under a Designer and Sr. Designer’s management) from the beginning stages of new construction and remodels including space planning, hands on involvement with architects and builders and on-site communication with subcontractors. You’ll assist in creating detailed millwork and cabinetry drawings as well as help select and specify the design elements for each project – lighting, plumbing, flooring, tile, etc. You will assist the design team and Procurement manager in managing the purchasing FF&E (Fixtures, Furniture & Equipment) and completing jobs with decorating and finishing touches. Most importantly, you’ll be equally responsible for making our clients feel comfortable and confident in the team’s ability to manage their project and ensure they, and you, have fun throughout the process!

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ You must have a degree in Interior Design

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD
+ You have to be task-oriented and have incredible communication skills

+ You should have experience working with other people on a design team
+ You must feel comfortable with and able to drive back and forth to job sites
+ You must be able to help manage several jobs at once and be extremely organized

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
